THE PROPHET OF JEANS
Pascuale Orza, Anglo-Italian designer: He grew up in Hertfordshire, influenced by the end of the 60s and early 70s, but always in love with the American rock and roll revolution of 50, and of love for Marilyn Monroe as the icon of that era. Marilyn made jeans sexy and was the first woman to wear them in a feminine way.
THE PROPHECY
The most important vision that Pascuale Orza had appeared after he made the unforgettable bright jeans of Lycra, worn by Olivia Newton John in the film Grease.
From that moment, jeans for women would never be the same. Pascuale decided that in the future all jeans would have an element of elasticity, to give them comfort, this was the prophecy.
In 1979, after the Lycra jeans, he made the real first "STRETCH DENIM"
"The Prophecy" was born.
ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC JEANS FOR WOMEN
Pascuale Orza made the first "STRETCH DENIM" Jeans for women with "Kaihara Denim Japan" in 1979 and had exclusive rights for one year.
In 1980 he was crowned "THE KING OF STRETCH" in LONDON by the magazines DRAPERS RECORD and HONG KONG APPAREL.
This was and still is today the largest "JEANS REVOLUTION" since the Jeans were created.
